We are launching our latest beer, currently called "Festival Special" for the CAMRA Norwich Beer Festival from 24-29 October. We'll be selling this beer to pubs and clubs following the launch, and this will be the first outing for our Special pumpclip, which includes a QR code where you can use your iPhone or other mobile device to read more information about the beer on the Humpty Dumpty Brewery website.
Our festival special this year had a working title of "Low, Light and Hoppy". It is 3.6% alcohol by volume and was brewed with 100% lager malt for its extraordinarily pale colour. (No, it's not a lager).
The beer was hopped several times with a combination of American hops - Cascade and Summit - and for a beer its size it is packed with flavour, but finishes nicely dry to avoid seeming too much like grapefruit juice.
Keep an eye out for further editions of Humpty Dumpty Special... it will be different every time, and we'll update the website to let you know what to expect.
